“A renovated Victorian house built in 1904, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, on a 0.1-acre lot. This house is a five-minute drive from Samuel Merritt University, a private health sciences school that trains nurses, physical therapists and occupational therapists. A few blocks beyond that is Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center, making the neighborhood a popular (and convenient) one for medical workers. Emeryville — home to the headquarters of Pixar, Peet’s Coffee and Clif Bar & Company, plus a bustling commercial strip facing San Francisco Bay — is a 10-minute drive. Commuters heading into San Francisco, downtown Oakland or Berkeley are served by the West Oakland BART station 10 minutes away.”
